Red Fitness Lounge is excited to introduce Jennifer McDaniel from McDaniel Nutrition Therapy for our third Red Speaker’s series. Red Fitness Lounge was launched this past fall as a sexy, private-boutique style training facility with one purpose in mind; to redefine what you know about exercise and fitness.
We want to constantly provide powerful education on what it takes to feel whole and balanced. Red will be welcoming speaker’s each month to inform and entertain our clients so they have full education on Mind, Body and Spiritual health.
Each month we will bring you the latest news on topics such as nutrition, mental health, stronger and healthier relationships, the latest on cosmetic and non invasive body treatments, financial health and the smartest ways to train and have more time for you and your family.
The topic is “Navigating the Muddy Waters of Nutrition” with Jennifer McDaniel

Jennifer McDaniel’s Professional Bio:
Jennifer McDaniel, MS, RD, CSSD, LD is nutrition consultant who values balance and appreciates food’s influence on overall health.
Jennifer is frequently invited to speak at public lectures, academic and professional conferences, and at colleges and universities. She also serves as a nutrition spokesperson for Fox 2 News KTVI in the morning, the Big 550 AM KTRS, and Daisy Brand, LLC.
She has developed and implemented wellness programs for numerous companies in the Saint Louis area, and is a professional and engaging speaker who desires to create a sense of motivation for all audiences.
Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and her Masters Degree in Nutrition and Physical Performance from Saint Louis University-graduating summa cum laude from both institutions. Active in several professional organizations, she is currently a member of the American Dietetic Association (ADA); the Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutritionists Dietetic Practice Group (SCAN); and Nutrition Entrepreneurs Dietetic Practice Group. She is also a Board Certified Sports Specialist. Currently, she is only 1 of 2 dietitians that hold this certification in Missouri.
Jennifer owns McDaniel Nutrition Therapy, LLC, a nutrition consulting company, and is an adjunct professor at Saint Louis University in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics. She was the department’s program director for six years. She currently consults for Carmichael Training Systems, an international endurance sports consulting company developed by the elite Olympic cyclist, Chris Carmichael. CTS has trained three of the four American cyclists who have worn the yellow leader’s jersey in the Tour de France: Lance Armstrong, George Hincapie, aand David Zabriskie.
Jennifer has raced several marathons and both qualified and completed in the Boston Marathon in 2007. She feels most in sync when she is running, cycling, and using her imagination to create meals that fuel those activities.
